Film Solutions solves file size, storage, transfer and keyword searching issues with specialized conversion tools that create much smaller, high quality and easily viewable companion JPEG files from the original high-resolution RAW files. The Film Solutions system optimizes and embeds photo-related data (metadata), offering easy access to the original high-resolution file when needed for reproduction.

Converting thousands of RAW images delivered from a photographer is often a daunting task. RAW file sizes are very large, and not readily viewable in basic image preview applications. File transfer is also impractical with these larger file types. JPEG images converted from RAW are much easier to distribute and access across popular platforms such as Windows XP, Vista, Apple OS X, and Linux.
